Lott South Woodland was originally called Sandhill Woodlot.

Open from dawn until dusk.

  • South Campus, farms area, south of I96, north of Sandhill Rd., between College Rd. and Hagadorn Rd.
  • Woodlot is unfenced.
  • Accessibility is limited due to the natural growth of vegetation and the terrain.

  • There are no formal entrances.

  • Park near the southeast corner of the natural area off Sandhill Rd.

Features

  • Area: 43.5 acres
  • Consists of mixed age floodplain forest to the east and a sandhill rising to the west.
